Would you like to get acquainted with other women diagnosed with breast cancer in Brevard County? This close knit caring group of ladies has been meeting since 1993, welcoming newly diagnosed and in-treatment patients, while also supporting many longstanding survivors through any stage of treatment or recovery.  Facilitated by a breast cancer survivor and social worker, we invite all breast cancer patients/survivors in Brevard County to join or drop in.  Some months we will have a guest speaker on a cancer or health-related topic.

Cancer patients, survivors and caregivers benefit from the support of others with similar cancer experiences.  Even though you may receive support from friends and family, joining a support group provides you with an opportunity to be with people who are likely to provide you with a profound understanding of what you are going through, because they have similar feelings, worries, everyday problems, treatment decisions, or treatment side effects.

This monthly support group is a hosted by Complementary Cancer Care, a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing compassionate and complementary non-medical services that improve total quality of life during treatment and beyond. We offer the tools to connect, support, educate, and empower cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers on their journey to healing.

• Participants have hand sanitizer available to them before and after the event. 

Participants use masks and stay 6 feet apart when moving about indoors; cancer survivors who are no longer in active treatment or those who have been fully vaccinated can remove masks when 6 feet apart in good ventilation/outdoors, but those in active treatment need masks on at all times.
