Experience the world music of Wandering Spiral (Rick de Yampert, Michelle Davidson, and LuAnn Day) as they take you on a 45-minute sound journey of world instruments including sitar, crystal bowls, tongue drums, and Native American flutes in the beautiful Ormond Memorial Gardens on National Meditation Day. This music meditation program (10:30 a.m. Friday, May 21) will take place next to the labyrinth gazebo, and guests are encouraged to walk the labyrinth, sit, or stroll and let your body and mind wander with the ethereal sounds of nature and music. This is a donation-based program, starting at $10. Donations of $20 and above that register by May 14th will receive a sage bundle package.
About Wandering Spiral: Rick de Yampert is a sitar, Moyo drum and Native American flute player residing in the Daytona Beach, Florida, area. He performs East-West world fusion, trance, Buddha lounge and Beatles covers, and also some funky fusion and up-tempo, tribal dance soundscapes. Michelle Davidson is an empath and intuitive who specializes in healing modalities through music, art, and writing. LuAnn Day has been playing the crystal bowls since 2012. LuAnn and Michelle have been performing crystal bowl sound meditations together for the last two years in Volusia County.
