Reduce Stress and Boost Immunity with Acupuncture

Jun 09, 2020 08:51PM ● By Rebecca Young
Dr.  Debra Pardee, founder  of the Volusia Center for Complementary Medicine, invites the community to experience acupuncture at her DeLand clinic. “Stress due to the coronavirus has taken a toll on many of us. Acupuncture is thousands of years old and has been used as a valuable health tool in previous pandemics. We all deserve to feel good and acupuncture can help,” she affirms.

In addition, acupuncture treatments can help boost the immune system and alleviate emotional issues including anxiety, depression and anger. “We now know that isolation and being in quarantine can create serious emotional consequences. Acupuncture is beneficial for emotional issues and is remarkably effective for those suffering with PTSD from being on the frontlines. It can also combat weight gain incurred during this ongoing pandemic.”

The staff at Volusia Center for Complementary Medicine is practicing strict medical clinic safety protocols. In addition to in-clinic acupuncture, Pardee offers customized herbal and homeopathic remedies available for home delivery.
