September 12 marks the 26th anniversary of Unity’s World Day of Prayer. The twenty-four-hour vigil will begin on September 11 at Unity World Headquarters, at Unity Village, Missouri. Live streaming of events will begin at 7 p.m. central time. This year’s theme is “Infinite Presence, Unlimited Potential,” and tens of thousands around the world will unite with this year’s affirmation, “I celebrate the vast possibilities in my life.”

Unity of Daytona Beach invites area residents to stop by any time between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on September 12 as they hold spiritual space and affirm unlimited possibilities for themselves, others, the community, the nation and the world. They hope to make this day of prayer a very moving, meaningful experience that will include a labyrinth walk, crystal bowl meditations, live streaming from Unity Village and interactive “stations” designed to help participants focus on “infinite presence and unlimited potential.”

Unity is a ministry founded on the power of prayer. It was through prayer that Unity co-founders Charles and Myrtle Fillmore received significant and seemingly miraculous healings. “Prayer always has been central to Unity and to our ministry at Unity of Daytona Beach,” says Senior Minister Rev. Carmen Rich Zappi. “Celebrating the power of prayer and connecting through prayer with infinite presence and unlimited potential, we are blessed to once again participate in Unity’s World Day of Prayer.”
